Set of 2 oil on canvas, mirror, silver leaf, stone with transfer print

“If everyone looks at the stars every night, I bet they’ll live quite a different life.”
“Right. I wish I could see the stars everyday though.”
“You can, it’s just cloudy sometimes. They never left, even the the blazing sun is shinning upon.”
“Hmm huh...they left a tail of light for us even they crashed thousand years ago. I bet they’ ll keep doing so.”
“They’re always here with us. We just forget sometimes alone is just a feeling” “They’re just away but never left.”
I attempted to reserve the night sky with different methods, so that the world could recognize their subtle and enduring existence.
To mark the stars on where they settled on the mirror; to transfer them onto the stone that laid under them every night ; to present them on the canvas as accurately as possible.
But I can never capture those lights in the perfect form.
Eventually, the quest to journey back only fade into the daylight.
